Hi, I’m Emily!

I’m a mom, a storyteller and a lifelong lover of books. I wrote Tell Me a Juliet for sensitive, imaginative kids who feel everything deeply (and for the grown-ups who love them). Through Juliet, bedtime is reimagined with a whimsical spin.

The story follows Juliet, a young girl, whose adventures give kids confidence and reassurance while they navigate their emotions. Juliet was born from big feelings, tricky transitions, and the magic that happens when a story helps a child make sense of the world.

When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me with my family, laughing with friends, or reading a good mystery. I believe books can change lives and stories can help children feel seen, understood, and loved.
